A mezzo-soprano whose gorgeous voice is matched by her lovely appearance, Grace Bumbry possesses one of the opera world's most effortlessly amazing voices. THE ART OF GRACE BUMBRY was filmed in 1972 for Radio-Canada and features the vocal star singing several songs that she is famous for, including Verdi's UN BALLO IN MASCHERA and Tchaikovsky's JEANNE D'ARC. She is ably backed by Radio-Canada's own orchestra, which is conducted by Jaques Beaudry.
