I've seen A night for ray charles for the first time on television at the grammy awards 2005. This must be one of the best tributes to a legend I have ever seen.

Artists like Stevie Wonder, Al green, B.B.King (big names) all sing the best classics ray has ever made. Some were even better then the originals in my opinion.

The music comes from the heart and you can hear that especially in the song Mary J Blige sings...WHAT A VOICE...I never knew she could sing like that and she should sing more music in the genre, you can hear mary at best on this DVD.

The same with Usher's performance when he sings georgia...on of the biggest names in R&B at the moment who sings a song like that just gives me goosebumbs.

There isn't one single song where you think ; now I've heard enough...you just want to listen MORE MORE MORE when they all performed...

A Night for Ray Charles is Definitely a music DVD you HAVE TO HAVE in your collection, even if you don't like ray's music I would still reccomend it

if I would have to rate this DVD from 1-10 I would Definitely give it a 10 . A MUST HAVE
